The Friedrich M36YJ Mini Split Heat Pump feature variable speed compressors and fans (called Inverter Technology), which reach the desired temperature faster, maintain it more accurately and reduce energy consumption with fewer compressor startups. The Advantages of Precision Inverter System Single Zone, Friedrich ductless is superior to conventional systems. Precision Inverter technology varies the compressor, the outdoor and the indoor fan speeds, eliminating constant compressor start-ups/shutdowns that traditional systems require to maintain the set temperature. Soft start technology starts the compressor with minimal amperage at start up, saving energy versus compressors utilzing locked rotor amperage (LRA). This is especially beneficial in multizone systems where room temperature set points vary and some indoor units may be turned off in unoccupied rooms. Each system can adjust capacity and cooling output to provide only the amount of cooling needed at a given time. The result is optimal comfort with low energy costs. DUCTLESS SPLIT SYSTEMS LIMITED WARRANTY 1.
A) FIVE YEAR WARRANTY - FRIEDRICH AIR CONDITIONING CO. (FRIEDRICH) warrants to the original end-user of this product that should it prove defective due to improper workmanship and/or material under normal use for a period of five years from the date of installation, FRIEDRICH will repair or replace, at its option, any defective part without charge for the part. Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. B) THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE LABOR or other cost incurred for servicing, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, or handling of either defective or replacement parts, or complete unit. Such cost may be covered by a separate warranty provided by the installing contractor.
C) SEVEN YEAR COMPRESSOR WARRANTY- During the seven year warranty period from the date of installation, should the compressor prove defective due to improper workmanship and/or material, FRIEDRICH will furnish a replacement compressor, at no charge, which is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. LABOR IS NOT INCLUDED FOR INSTALLING REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR. These warranties apply only while the unit remains at the original site and only to units installed inside the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada. The warranty applies only if the unit is installed and operated in accordance with the printed instructions and in compliance with applicable local installation and building codes and good trade practices. D) NOTICE: To obtain service and/or warranty parts replacement, you must notify an authorized FRIEDRICH Air Conditioning Co. distributor, dealer, or contractor of any defect within the applicable warranty period.
2. Any defective part to be replaced must be made available to FRIEDRICH in exchange for the replacement part. You must present proof of the original date of installation of the product in order to establish the effective date of the warranty. Otherwise, the effective date will be deemed to be the date of manufacture plus thirty days. The return of the owner registration card is not a condition of warranty coverage. However, please detach and return it so that we can contact you should a question of safety arise which could affect you.
3. TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE, please contact your authorized FRIEDRICH distributor, dealer, or the contractor who installed the equipment. If your dealer or contractor needs assistance, the authorized FRIEDRICH distributor is available for consultation, and FRIEDRICH supports the efforts of the distributor. 4. This limited warranty applies only to units remaining at the site of the original installation (except for mobile home installations) and only to units installed within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. This limited warranty applies only if the unit is installed and operated in accordance with FRIEDRICH instructions and in compliance with applicable local installation and building codes and good trade practices.
5. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER damages caused by: (a) accident, abuse, negligence, or misuse; (b) operating the product in a corrosive atmosphere containing chlorine, fluorine or any other damaging chemicals; (c) modification, alteration, poor service practices; (d) improper matching or application of the product or components; (e) failure to provide proper maintenance and service to the product according to manufacture's instructions; (f) installation or operating of the product in a manner contrary to the instructions of the manufacturer; (g) lightning, fluctuations in electrical power or other Acts of God. This LIMITED WARRANTY also excludes all cost of installation, disconnection or dismantling the product, parts used in connection with normal maintenance such as air filters or belts and owner-required maintenance. Consult the instructions enclosed with the product for information regarding recommended maintenance.
6. No one is authorized to change this LIMITED WARRANTY in any respect, or to create any other obligation or liability in connection with this product.
7. YOUR ONLY REMEDIES ARE PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND ANY REMEDY WHICH, BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION OR OPERATION OF LAW, IS HEREBY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO A TERM OF ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL INSTALLATION. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL FRIEDRICH BE LIABLE TO THE OWNER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE.
8. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, special or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
9. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.

Mostly All Of Our Products Are Shipped Same Or Next Day
Your product will be mostly shipped using Freight Company such as SAIA, ESTES, Old Dominion, FEDEX or UPS and will be delivered in 1-5 business days depending upon your geographical location from our warehouses. We ship products from warehouses in NY, NJ, FL, CA,AZ, TX And MO. Mostly if you are close to our warehouses, you should receive the Product in 1-3 business days. We will email you your tracking number soon as its shipped out or you can log into your account on our website by using your email address and password you created at the time of placing order to check all the shipment and product details.
Please remember we only ship to 48 states within United States. Due to expensive shipment fee we do not ship to Hawaii & Alaska. We do not ship to Canada, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and other countries due to custom issues.
Though above shipment and delivery process is what we normally practice, under unforseen circumstances they cannot be guaranteed at all times. But we do our best and mostly succeed to ship the product either same or the next day.
Overnight Shipping Details (if required)
We can ship overnight or by Second Day Air. But beacuse these are air conditioners and the package weighs more than 90 pounds usually, shipping overnight can result in the package being mishandled and delivered damaged. Plus it cost anywhere from $180-$850 more than regular shipping depending upon your location from our warehouse. Feel free to email us with such enquiries.

Delivery Acceptance Terms:
If you receive a package that seems damaged or dented, please open the package in front of the driver and after inspection if you see the product has a severe damage you can refuse the package and call us immediately. We will then arrange a new shipment (Free Replacement) ASAP.
Please note: If the box looks visibly damaged, the product inside may still be in perfect condition as they are well padded for shipping purposes.
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN OR REFUSE THE PACKAGE WITHOUT INSPECTING THE CONDITION OF THE PRODUCT INSIDE. Please take pictures if needed, accept or refuse shipment based upon the condition of the product in the box, not based upon the condition of the box. Please remember if you signed off on a delivery document, insurance cannot be filed if cosmetic damage is found at a later date, as it is considered to have happened after delivery at jobsite.

DEFECTIVE EXCHANGE
If unit (any product) is defective, depending upon the brand you buy, it will be taken care of by manufacturer warranty. Usually they will send out the replacement part within 24 hours, if replacing part is not a solution, they would probably replace the whole unit if the product was found defective. Replacement will only be made with the same model, if customer decides to upgrade or downgrade to a different model, we'll treat it as a return and a new order.
* All returns should be in original packaging and in brand new condition. Installed products are not considered brand new and cannot be returned.
* All damaged returns and replacements must be requested within 24 hours after the receipt of the product. *
Before shipping the product back, you should request an RA# (Return Authorization number), without an RA# your package will not be accepted, will be refused and sent back by the warehouse.
RETURNS
For all returns, customer is responsible to ship product back to our warehouse at their own expense; restocking fee of 19% will apply regardless if defective and original shipping fee (from $69 to $189 depending upon the product you purchased) will not be refunded as it is paid to the trucking company's and they are non-refundable.
CANCELLATIONS
If you placed the order and you wanted to cancel the order BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED, we will gladly cancel your order and $15.99 cancellation fee will be charged and 3% credit card processing charges will not be refunded. Please make sure that you call us within few hours after the order is placed. We ship the items out same or next business day. We cannot process cancellations after the product is shipped out. It will be considered as a return instead once the product is shipped and you will need to pay the return charges. If the delivery of the shipment is refused above return policy will apply. Once the item is shipped, the shipping company will not refund us the shipping fee back and will charge us for shipping both ways, this will not be refunded if cancelled after the product is shipped and 19% restocking fee will apply.
